We are a garden company working across Amsterdam and North Holland. Maintenance, construction, renovation — and a written quote before anyone picks up a spade.
What we do
- Garden maintenance: pruning, lawns, hedges, borders, seasonal work.
- Garden construction: paving, terraces, fencing, ponds, drainage.
- Garden renovation: raising, levelling, clearing and starting again.
- Tree work: pruning, felling, stump and root removal.
Why an English page at all
Roughly a fifth of the people who ask us for a quote in Amsterdam do not speak Dutch. That is a practical problem, not a marketing one: garden work involves the municipality, sometimes a permit, and almost always a conversation about what is and is not possible. We do that in English.
What a garden costs here
Prices depend on the size of the garden, how reachable it is, and what has to be removed. These are the ranges we work with in this region; the costs page breaks them down further.
| Work | Usual range |
|---|---|
| Maintenance visit, small city garden | € 45 – € 65 per hour |
| Full garden clearance | € 400 – € 1.200 |
| New paving, per m² | € 45 – € 95 |
| Fence, per running metre | € 60 – € 140 |
Amsterdam gardens are small, often only reachable through the house, and that is what moves the price — not the square metres.
How working with us actually goes
You send a short description of the job. We come and look, in person, and you get a written quote with the work broken down per item — no lump sum that hides what you are paying for.
- We speak English on site and in writing.
- The quote is fixed unless you change the job; if we hit something we could not see beforehand, you hear it before we carry on.
- We work across Amsterdam and the surrounding area, so travel is not billed as a separate surprise.
- Green waste is removed and disposed of properly.
If you are renting, check with your landlord first: in the Netherlands the division between tenant and owner for garden work is set in the rental contract, and it decides who pays.
