How it works
- You describe the job in a few lines. Photos help more than measurements.
- We come and look. For anything above roughly a thousand euro this is not optional — quoting a garden from photographs is how disputes start.
- You get the quote in writing within two working days, per item.
- It is valid for thirty days and it is not a deposit on anything.
What to have ready
None of this is required, but each one makes the quote sharper and less likely to move later.
- Roughly how large the garden is.
- Whether there is a back entrance, or everything goes through the house.
- Whether you rent or own, and if you rent, what your contract says about the garden.
- Anything you already know is wrong: standing water, sinking, dead trees.
Why we quote per item
A single figure for "the garden" tells you nothing and gives you no way to cut the job down if it comes in above what you had in mind. Per item you can see what the terrace costs against what the fence costs, and decide.
How working with us actually goes
You send a short description of the job. We come and look, in person, and you get a written quote with the work broken down per item — no lump sum that hides what you are paying for.
- We speak English on site and in writing.
- The quote is fixed unless you change the job; if we hit something we could not see beforehand, you hear it before we carry on.
- We work across Amsterdam and the surrounding area, so travel is not billed as a separate surprise.
- Green waste is removed and disposed of properly.
If you are renting, check with your landlord first: in the Netherlands the division between tenant and owner for garden work is set in the rental contract, and it decides who pays.
